Veja trainers?

They look so stylish and are ethical but I've read reviews that they're not comfortable.
I'm a size 7 with narrow, flat feet. Usually wear insoles.
Any opinions please?

I have the ones that are like plimsolls. They’re not cushioned and have flat soles like Converse without moulded instep support. If you find Converse uncomfortable these are similar. The more trainer-shaped ones might be different. However, I have narrow, bony feet and usually get blisters from all new shoes and these haven’t rubbed my heels at all!

I have fairly wide feet and they fitted me well, you may have a problem with narrow feet.

Thank you. I'll go to a shop and try them on.
Some of the reviews report that the tongue is too long and rubs, have either of you found that?

I have the V10s. I don't find them comfortable like trainers should be, to me they feel more like shoes if that makes sense? they are not as cushioned as say a similar Nike or Adidas style, who I guess in their defence have years of specialist technology research and access to top materials. It's very minor but something about the weight of the sole versus the upper isn't right. The tongue is very long, but for me, they rubbed either side of the tongue, around the opening, even though there is a bit of padding.

I like them style wise, but they are not my go to if I know I'm going to be on my feet a lot. If they were my only trainers I'd be a bit disappointed.

I need a wide toebox, and they just don’t fit me at all, all hurt the little toe when I try them on. Shame cos I like the ethics and the aesthetics.

I also have the V10s. @chasingseagulls has it right: they re not liek regular trainers. They are more like shoes that have to be broken in. I find the sole hard and solid iykwim. The leather is quite stiff too. The tongue is quite long but it wasn't uncomfortable for me. Diehard fashionistas will tell you they are immediately comfy. That wasn't my experience, they are not, but they do get better. I really like the look of them so I persevered. They are lovely.

My foot is broad-ish and they fit fine. If you are narrow they might be a little big. I sized down on them. Usually I'm a 39.5, or 40. I took a 39 and they are loads big enough.

Also like @chasingseagulls, I wouldn't wear them for a long day's walking, e.g. sight-seeing around a city.

I find them comfortable, although initially a bit stiff to put on.
