White leather trainers with leopard stripe.

OK, I KNOW leopard print can be considered naff/trashy/common/vile by some. Have seen it called vile on here before, but I do love a wee nod to leopard in a plainish outfit - belt or bangle or something. I saw a women on the tube wearing a lovely pair of white leather trainers with a leopard print stripe on them but she got off before I could ask where she got them from. Any suggestions?

If you hate leopard, that's fine, you don't need to come on here to tell me. Maybe this isn't the thread for you ... Grin

Aw crap @slipperyeel, they look exactly like the ones I saw on the woman in the tube! I love them. I was hoping they were a bit cheaper than that but hey ho!

I've got the MV ones in my basket but can't quite bring myself to checkout yet. There are some really lovely ones on this thread too. I can't decide!

Love the MV ones. Boden trainers are nice and you should be able to find a 20% discount somewhere although with sale time it might be a bit harder.

The new look ones are leather and a reasonable price - the MV ones are leather and quite expensive - (and my faves of all of these) The Matalan ones are a copy of the MV ones but aren’t leather -which is a deal breaker for me as they will make your feet ‘sweaty’ probably - the Dune ones are lovely but too much red accent for me and the gold embellishments look like they are copying Versace to me anyway....so if it was me I would go for the MV ones and try to make some savings elsewhere in the month...but then I’d think the new look ones are a bargain for leather .....seriously I know I am not helping - I am just honing down the available choices ....I really do think the proof would be if you were able to try them on and compare the comfort of each, I would imagine the MV ones are very comfy but you just can’t tell, have you read any reviews? ! 😻

I’ve just bought some from Next. White leather with leopard back though, rather than stripe. £45 I think.

Why on earth would Dune start writing Dune all over their shoes?! It’s hardly a designer brand that people would want that!

Anyway, some gorgeous shoes here. I love leopard print and won’t hear a bad word said about it!

@Thefemalekeithrichards No you're NOT helping and making me edge even more towards the MV ones! Grin

The New Look ones are lovely, but I don't get on well at all with 'enclosed' shoes unless they're leather - too many blisters and painful feet over the years to take the chance.

I'm the same @ShirleyPhallus, I love leopard print. I think if you get it right, it can look just fantastic!
