What texture / density hair do you have?

fitflopqueen · 08/07/2019 22:51

currently using Mane & Tail shampoo - really good and Aussie 3 minute conditioner = shoulder length, thick straight hair here which can be frizzy but has been calmed by this combo.

I love the Kerastase range, sadly can no longer afford it after having DD !
I use Tigi Bedhead urban antidotes now which I get from b&m fairly cheap !

Lardlizard · 08/07/2019 23:38

A bit dry

I really love Keratese - their leave in treatments are divine.

I’ve recently been using function of beauty. A little goes a long way.

Oribe is a really luxe brand and smells beautiful. Pricey but worth it if you can afford it.

I'm interested in hearing everyone's thoughts. I have dryish ends and my roots can be a bit greasier but I currently get 4 days out of a hair wash so don't want anything too moisturising. Maybe a good mask or treatment.

Aveda Shampure and Aveda Damage Remedy - amazing stuff

RuggyPeg · 09/07/2019 08:19

Pureology.

Richlyfruited · 09/07/2019 08:56

Try Korres shampoo - I use the one for coloured hair which is amazing! There is definitely a version for dry hair.

Sooverthemill · 09/07/2019 10:10

Yes to the aveda damage remedy and also l'occitane verbena shampoo and conditioner is awesome.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 09/07/2019 10:14

I use a 2 in 1 anti dandruff shampoo/conditioner because I have to use quite a lot of mousse/serum and it's the only thing that makes it feel clean. I also like the 'clean' smell, as I can't abide all those fruity frilly ones.

If I add extra conditioner it's the Elvive thickening one.

MabelMoo23 · 09/07/2019 10:29

Another vote for Korres as well! I have coloured hair but prefer the one dry hair. It’s excellent and i love that it’s not full of chemicals as well

TheGirlWhoLived · 09/07/2019 10:41

I use ogx coconut miracle oil on me and the kids, smells amazing, hair is lovely and shiny and in great condition!

Ellapaella · 09/07/2019 12:40

Nothing beats good old Pantene for me. The one minute miracle is amazing stuff.

Parkmama · 09/07/2019 12:43

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is an amazing deep conditioning treatment. Results last through hair washes too.

Tigi bedhead dumb blonde (natural blonde with bleached hair). Cheaper ones disagree with my psoriasis whenever I try them.

Chillichutney1 · 09/07/2019 13:34

I found the aveda damage remedy useless, but then I have bleached hair with straw like ends. I didn’t notice a difference when I used it though

I really like maui shampoos and conditioners, esp the pink shea one for damaged hair

Another cheap option is to use a tiny amount of coconut oil on your hair after each wash, you should see an improvement in dryness after a few goes

ZazieTheCat · 09/07/2019 19:15

Faith in Nature has lots of good ones. Coconut stuff is good for dry hair. The chocolate one smells lovely and is great for dark hair.

MarshaBradyo · 09/07/2019 19:18

Aveda pure abundance

But I don’t use it all the time, go for cheaper stuff too

Katxie · 09/07/2019 19:53

Pureology definitely, having tried Oribe/Aveda etc too.

I have very coarse thick coloured hair and really struggle to find shampoos that don’t dry my hair out. The Aussie range are terrible on my hair literally make it feel like straw!
I’m loving tresemme moisture rich at the moment. Good value as well!

Layoverlife · 09/07/2019 20:50

Vo5 loveeeeee it 😍
