Help finding budget leggings that fit please

I've gained weight the past few years. Need to do something about that but in the meantime I need a few new items of clothing.

On a tight budget. Hoping to spend no more than £10 a pair but will consider up to £20 for the perfect comfy fit. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Tried Primark, one size too big, saggy all down legs, size down too tight!

Matalan papyrus range. They're a good thick fabric and they're £6.99.
Sainsburys 3 packs are good too but you want to go up a size for thickness, 2 sizes up gives a saggy crotch though.

Thank you for the suggestions. I couldn't think where to try, haven't bought new leggings for years but my weight gain is around my tummy so I'm looking to wear loose tops with leggings.

I've just looked up the Matalan ones, think I'll try them out. Thanks again.

Tesco are good too IMO

Thanks, Eminybob. Actually that would be good because I have some Tesco vouchers and don't tend to food shop there anymore.

I was coming to suggest Matalan too! Excellent value, wash really well and don’t fade or lose their shape.
First and only ever things I’ve bought from matalan but I was very impressed.

H&M.

My matalan ones didn’t stand the test of time and wear for me. I’ve had to throw out a pair that I had worn on average once a week for maybe six months, as holes had developed.

Marks and Spencer does great leggings. More expensive but far better quality in my experience. And no sagging.

Mint velvet leggings are 🙌 a little more expensive but worth every penny imo

M&S sizing is also generous, so you don’t need to size up. I can’t remember for sure but I think they’re 19.50 for a pair if you get the patterned ones, and maybe 16.50 for plain ones?

Thymejuice · 08/07/2019 22:25

Thank you everyone for the suggestions, all much appreciated.

I might try the M&S ones on before deciding, might be worth paying a little bit more. I'm currently wearing very comfy M&S PJ bottoms, which fit me well.

Thanks again.

Sainsbury’s luxury leggings...about £10 a pair. Excellent for every day. Or Very (i think/savoir) do some amazing leggings with tummy control for about £17.
