Breast augmentation in Bristol anyone?

Holenewme · 07/07/2019 17:55

I’m hoping to have a breast augmentation later this year - ideally in Bristol but will go to London if I can’t find anyone I’m happy with. I live in Cornwall so it’s a fair trek even to Bristol so I’m hoping to try and narrow it down to seeing a couple of surgeons in one day.

Any recommendations or experiences? Or, if anyone had a really good surgeon in London could you let me know who?

Thanks

Google James McDiarmid. Has offices in Torquay and Cheltenham. He's an excellent surgeon.

Why Bristol in particular, just out of interest?

(Bump as I haven’t the surgey!)

I had mine done in 2012 at Spire Hospital in Bristol.

I visited all the clinics and was most impressed by the Spire as there was no upselling or pushy ness at all. All the other chains literally bombarded me with calls the minute I walked out the clinic.

I got a few recommendations for my surgeon off I think it was a site called minime(s) something like that and it had loads of forums with others going through the same procedure.

I'm still super happy with mine. No issues at all.

Can't remember the name of my surgeon but I can try and find out. He at the time was one of the top surgeons in Bristol and does a lot of NHS reconstruction work aswell as private.

The argumentation forum is (no idea if it's still running) sotfeminine.co.uk

And my surgeon was Mr Cawthorn he still works at the Spire

browzings it’s the easiest big city to get to from where I live.

What about Bath?

Holenewme · 08/07/2019 17:20

Yes, Bath would be an option too. Also Plymouth or Exeter. The people I’ve looked into in the smaller places though seem to do 1-2 clinics a month in the smaller cities so I figured the whole process could take a lot longer than I’d like.

I had this operation and you need to google surgeons that have the baaps qualification, its one of the highest plastic surgery qualifications.A surgeon that does NHS work too is good as it shows they are specialised and trusted. My surgeon had the above credentials and did a brilliant job.
