Birkenstock sizing

If I'm 265 in Birkenstock size, what size would I buy online from a UK shop? They all sell in UK size 5,6,7 etc.

I can't find a UK conversion chart online and can't read the EU size on my old pair because it's worn off, but I remember they are 265.

265 doesn't refer to the size - i think it might refer to the width, I can't recall. Why not measure your foot? Remember not to fall into the trap of ordering too small a size, your foot is meant to be on the foot bed, not the sides of the shoes. Also I think there's a fine UK/EU conversion chart on their site???

Size 8 according to various online conversions. Can't speak for Birkenstocks though.

I was thinking size 8 too..but I'm usually a 7. It's so confusing. I'll have to go to a RL shop.

265 isn’t a size.

The size will be 37/38/39 etc.

I’m a size 5, but buy a 37 as they come up big.

I'm usually a 40 but have Birky 250 or 39 if that helps

I'm a 6.5 & I wear a 7. I'd try then on in a shop to be sure

I find that they come up big. I’m a large 8 but the 8s are too big on me.

I'm an 8 and I wear an 8 in Birkenstocks. I could get my feet into and wear a 7 if I wanted to, but you need to make sure there is a comfortable margin between your foot and the raised perimeter of the footbed. So I wear my normal size.

I’m a big 8/9 usually, but wear a 41 in Birkies. This is the size on the insole.

Aha! I found on the Australian website 265 is 41. That's sounds right. So 41 is a UK 8?

I agree they come up big. I'm a size 6 but take a 5 in birkenstocks

265 mm is an EU 41.5 which is a UK 7.5
I'd go for Birkenstock size 7

OK, so I bought a size UK 7.

That's a 260. It's also an EU 40. (There is a chart printed on the inside of the box)

Oddly the next size down is 250 which is an EU 39 or a UK 5.5. The next size up is 265 / 7.5 UK or EU 41.
