Have seen this recommended a few times.

Is it any good? Do you wear it alone or under make up?

I normally wear quite sheer foundation or tinted moisturiser so I'm just looking for something to boost my 'glow' a bit.

Sorry I meant to also ask what shade people use as well. I'm an ashy blonde with a bit of a tan at the moment but otherwise quite fair.

The silver strobe cream looked awful so I prefer the peach one, the pink is nice too but not when I have a tan.

But at the moment I’m loving Utan skin idol, it’s fabulous!

Get CT flawless filter instead. The glow is incredible and it's not glittery, just dewy
I use it under my eyes and on my cheekbones

@YesQueen I have heard about that too but wondered if it lived up to the hype? I haven't bought any CT products before.

If L'Oréal still do that Lumi primer it's exactly the same thing. And a lot cheaper!

digdug · 07/07/2019 20:10

@YesQueen Do you use it purely as a highlighter or would it work as an 'all over' glow do you think?

OP posts:
YesQueen · 07/07/2019 20:13

@digdug works under something but is a bit too much to be used alone on me

LumpySpacedPrincess · 07/07/2019 20:19

Soap and Glory has one called Hocus Focus which is lovely. Not glittery at all, just illuminates.

I gave the CT FF away because it was absolutely awful on me, so try it before you buy, OP. I like Strobe Cream a lot, and you can get it in a small tube fit about £10 to try. Sali Hughes did a “glow” column a few weeks ago which you might find useful.

It’s pretty good but I do honestly prefer the Primark dupe, which costs £3
