Shoes for long haul travel

I’m flying long haul next week and no idea what shoes to wear. What do you wear? It’ll be hot at the beginning of the trip but cold when I get out as flying into winter!

Comfort and layering is key! So something like black yoga pants, etc with a short sleeved tshirt (in case it gets hot) and loose jumper/sweatshirt type top (warm, as sometimes planes can get cold). Trainers are best but take them off during the flight. Take an old pair of thick socks to put over your normal socks to use as slippers during the flight. I am a very regular long haul traveller!

Any shoes that will work for when you arrive. Take thick comfy socks in your carry on and take shoes off and those on in-flight.

Lots of layers also, planes are cold!
