Stylish and comfortable flat sandals

Do they exist? I can only seem to find really comfortable ones that look like something my granny would wear, or really stylish ones that cut the feet off me.
Any favourites out there?

Following hopefully, having really painful feet and having just destroyed another pair of sandals!

Teva are good but the soles are now too thin for my crappy feet.

Mammalian · 06/07/2019 01:24

Yes eatsfartsandleaves (love the nameGrin) I see people walking all over town in sandals and I'm baffled at how they manage it

Depends on your idea of stylish? I spend my summers in Birkenstock Arizonas, Saltwaters and Varcas. All flat as a pancake, very comfortable and I think they look great. Am tempted by Tevas but can't really justify another pair of sandals!

UGG have the most amazing sandals, wedges , flats, flip flops ect

Ellapaella · 06/07/2019 08:58

Have a look at Toms sandals.

ElspethFlashman · 06/07/2019 09:01

Pop into a Wallis. I was in one yesterday looking at the sandals as a friend had told me they make the comfiest high street ones and she had bought a pair that felt amazing. Well what do you know, they seem to have changed a lot of their soles to those rubbery squishy ones.

I was pretty impressed.

Saltwaters are comfortable but they’re totally flat. No cushioning under foot at all so I don’t find them good for doing a lot of walking. Depends what you’re after really... I always find good old sandals from Clarks and Hotter are the most comfortable all round. Lots of different styles. But not the most stylish!

I have these from Camper and they're so comfy (especially the suede footbed):

For more dressy, I have these from Paul Smith (also very comfy!):

Sorry - link problems. They’re office safari sandals.

Mominatrix · 06/07/2019 09:16

I like the ones by K Jacques and Ancient Greek Sandal.

BestIsWest · 06/07/2019 09:59

I have the Clarks ones linked above in yellow - I love them. They are so comfortable and go with nothing I own.

AllTheCakes · 06/07/2019 10:03

These Clark’s ones are fab. All the straps are adjustable and a they have a really cushioned sole.

These sandal threads always descend into insults and hurt feelings for some reason.

BestIsWest · 06/07/2019 10:11

I like those too AllTheCakes

MashedTaters · 06/07/2019 12:36

I have the yellow ones too @BestIsWest . They are fab.

XingMing · 06/07/2019 15:24

I have last year's version of the Clarks and they are lovely, very comfortable soles, but they cut into my (high) instep in very hot weather.

Mammalian · 06/07/2019 23:56

Thanks everyone Smile

I have those Office safari ones and the sorbet ones as well and they're fantastically comfy.
I also like my Moshulu wasabi sandals - very comfy - but I found they stretched and got a bit floppy pretty quickly. The Office ones are more supportive.

beanaseireann · 07/07/2019 08:40

Skechers do very comfortable sandals.

TheBitterBoy · 07/07/2019 08:46

I have walked miles in my Blowfish Galie sandals, they are very comfy, and non grannyish
