What colour of nails would look better?

I'm attending a wedding this weekend. My dress is teal with cerise flowers. Sounds awful but it's lovely and looks good on. Shoes are cerise. Should I match my nails to the main colour of the dress or my shoes?

I recommend nude or pale pink as well. Bubble bath by OPI springs to mind here, its a lovely nudey-pink.

Having now seen the outfit I’d go for gold. A light, antique-y one. Shellac do a nice one.

I've put on this gold Nails Inc foil one. The hardware on the clutch is gold. What do you think?

Personally I think that’s a little too harsh. My vote would be for a nude/yellow (match it to whatever that pale colour is in the flower), or a beige. It will look more classy IMO.

And if nude doesn’t grab you I agree that the pale pink is nicer than the gold.

My ruddy skin colour with the added bonus of freckles always makes my hands look shite.

Your nails are gorgeous! Great shape. I like the gold. I love your dress. If it were me I wouldn't go for all bold accessories, I.e. shoes clutch AND nails.

Oooh, here's a bit of a curveball - how about a pale turquoise nail?

I've got similar colour hands fuck you arthritis and baby blue works brilliantly for daily wear - a turquoise would pick up on the dress colour without being too obvious.

I'd go for a cream, rather than a metallic or sparkle, though.

Hmmm it’s hard to see...is the green closer to the colour of the dark leaves or to the background colour of the dress? If it’s dark enough I’d go with that if you like it. It’s the right look for the outfit IMO.

It's slightly darker than the dress but not as dark as the leaves. 🤷
