“Beach” type bag with a zip!

I’m after a biggish tote, good for chucking everything in (along with spare layers, hats, sunscreen) but I don’t want everything falling out so want a zip.

I’d like it to be reasonably hard wearing. Anyone seen anything suitable?

I saw some with zips in Matalan yesterday. Not sure how hard wearing etc but noticed the zip because it makes a pleasant change from a popper that does no good at all keeping everything in!

Oo, I’ll have a look thanks.

Matalan have loads of beach bags in at the moment 👍

I was bought a lovely big beach bag for Mother's Day from primark.
I always use my beach bag to go thru the airport/ carry on bag. So need a zip to cover passport etc.

TKmaxx had quite a lot in yesterday, have a look on line if your not near a branch, some in the sale as well.

There was a huge DKNY one that I really liked (but I dont need one!)

M+S do this one.

Comes in a few colour sand v handy for chucking a load of stuff into. I have it. Strap is a comfortable length too.

Ooh and it’s lined.

taybert · 04/07/2019 09:33

@championquartz, I saw that one but wondered if it looked a bit “flat” and wouldn’t fit much in despite the size. I’m presuming you don’t find that a problem?

I also thought that but it fits quite a bit. However, if you were carrying beach towels it probably wouldn’t do. But for plenty of sun lotions, (fair tweens) multiple swimsuits, bottles of water, purse, some snacks, sunglasses, couple of books, it’s perfect. And not so spendy as to have to worry about it. Although in fairness it has been fairly robust so far. I find it very comfortable to carry. Not the prettiest bag ever but it’s not the worst either.

Yeah, we’ve got a 4 and a 6 year old so trips to the actual beach usually involve more than one bag! It was more for UK days out where it could be sunscreen weather or extra layer weather. Thanks, I’ll give it a go.
