Advice needed on H&M sizes

At Fatface I’m a size 10 for trousers (but 8 for tops). I’d like to place an online order from H&M and am wondering whether they’re the same, or would I need 12 or 14? I seem to remember in the past their sizes being very small, but I don’t know whether that’s still the case.

I don't think their sizes are small at all; I bought two dresses there yesterday in XS, I'm 5'6" and a size 8.

They changed all their sizes last year and told everyone they were now in line with most high street shops and if you usually size up then buy your usual size. Reading reviews is always good though because you sometimes get a rogue item that isn't TTS.

Tbh there sizes are still all over the place. I am usually small for dresses, size 14 for trousers and 10 for tops. in H&M.

Their sizes can be mental. I’m an 18 and have a dress in an 8, and one in a 24.

Their sizes are bonkers. I’m a size 18 and I have everything from a medium to a 3XL from there.

I agree that you need to try stuff on. I've got 16 shorts and dresses in a 14 but I can't get jeans on in an 18. I've got a L top that is enormous and often stuff either stretches or shrinks in the wash.

I buy regularly from them and I'm a 12 in everything. Never had a problem since they changed sizing last year. Just buy your usual size.

Sizing is all over the place. I can be anywhere from a 4 to an 18. Normally order about 4 different sizes and keep the one that fits.....

Sizing is inconsistent. I have two identical tops other than colour. I’m a consistent 14 in places like Oasis, Warehouse, maybe a 12 in Next. One is a large which is very snug so the second I bought in extra large which is like a tent.
