Bras for 38GG - help needed

ilikepurple · 03/07/2019 11:42

I usually wear bras from Freya or Fantasie in a 38GG. I bought one from Sainsbury's in 40GG which fits but the straps don't sit well and wrinkle up.

Please wise ladies of MN advise me what other brands I can try. Ideally I want a nude smooth t shirt bra.

Thanks.

I’ve been as big as 40K, and I really think the only answer is Bravissimo to try lots of brands. Panache Tango can work well depending on boob shape, as can Bravissimo’s own brand. But t shirt bras are really hard to find in bigger sizes unfortunately.

Panache lingerie are good

ilikepurple · 03/07/2019 11:56

Thanks I'll have a look at those.

Definitely a trip to a bravissimo store - life changing!

Are you sure that’s your correct size?

Use this guide and see what you come out as if you haven’t already-

I am larger boobed and I am a bit cheeky and go and try on lots in Bravissimo and Debenhams and then look up the same brands and sizes on eBay. You can get lots of ex catalogue stock and colours super cheap- picked up a Freya bra new with tags for £5 including postage last week!

The Figleaves Juliette bra is the holy grail of bras. It’s AMAZING. I’m a 36GG and I adore it.

ilikepurple · 04/07/2019 16:44

Thanks @FenellaMaxwell I like the look of that!

I used to be a lingerie fitter, and it's honestly amazing!

ilikepurple · 09/07/2019 07:13

@FenellaMaxwell it arrived yesterday and I wore it straight away. Love it, although it rubbed a bit under my boobs, I've sensitive skin so I'm going to wash it as I'm sure it'll be fine. Tempted to order one in every colour! Thanks
