I have a birthday event coming up which is lunch out in a swanky place, a trip to the theatre and then onto a nightclub.

It is going to be a long day so heels are out for sure.
I've never been very good at putting together outfits and my go to tends to be
Jeans, top and blazer.

I really fancy something different.
I was thinking a maxi pleated skirt, halterneck vest top tucked in, denim jacket maybe?

I am a size 16/18 with a wonderful c section apron.
5'6 and average bust.
Will I look like a sack of spuds?

Any other ideas of an outfit which will carry me through the day?

Jumpsuit?

Maxi pleated skirt, top tucked in and denim jacket will look great. I'm similar shape/size to you and I'm loving this look at the moment - it gives me curves, shows my waist, exentuates my boobs and I feel stylish in it...

Could match with sandals and or trainers for comfort!

Thanks everyone

I would love a jumpsuit but the c section podge might look pretty horrific I think.
I think I'll go with the maxi skirt after all. Any recommendations?

And porkpiie. Thanks but I tend to save the neon green crocs for weddings x
