Greasy hair help

I’m 6 weeks pregnant and have reached the dreaded “my hair looks like it’s never seen shampoo despite being washed an hour ago” stage.

This would be fine usually if I could hide away until it resolves but I have two weddings this weekend. I would really like to look like I’ve actually bothered to shower so any advice? I’m currently using a sulphate free shampoo and silicone free conditioner and not sure if going back to sulphates and silicones to get me through would benefit? Although I used those when I was pregnant with DS and it didn’t make a difference.

Anyone got any magic solutions I can try?

CoLab dry shampoo?

And volume and bounce dry texturising spray.

If it's warm and your hair is not cooperating, I would advise hair up for weddings

As someone plagued by greasy hair, dry shampoo all the way. Buy one that matches the colour of your hair and spray it on after it's been blow dried. Don't leave it until it starts to get greasy- before is the trick! I've spent fortunes on fancy shampoos but I always go back to dry shampoo

Dry shampoo of course

However I find that sulphate free shampoos never clean my scalp properly- my hair was left limp and flat after washing so I just switched back!

Thanks guys. I was reluctant to try dry shampoo when regular shampoo wasn’t even doing the job but I’ll give it a bash!

For me, head and shoulders shampoo (the citrus one for greasy hair) and ditch the conditioner completely.

Dry shampoo, used the night before you wash it
