I’ve been inspired by The Ordinary skincare - my skin has never been so good - to look at other budget products. Something I haven’t done since uni days Blush but need to do because we have some big expenses coming up...

Some come and tell me your fave budget products!

Garnier Micellar Water - the oil infused one. It is incredible at taking make up off and even budges stubborn mascara without stinging my eyes. It’s usually about £3-4 on offer and a bottle lasts months.

Astral moisturiser is fabulous as night cream.

This eye cream that I buy in Sainsbury’s superfacialist.co.uk/product/dark-circles-eye-cream/

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is a lovely moisturiser.

Aveeno hand cream

Oral B 3D White Luxe Perfection

Garnier Pure Active toner (the one with salicylic acid).

Indeed labs squalane oil.

Garnier misceller (sp) water is amazing at removing make up. And doesn't give me spots or dry skin

Superdrug Pure serum, and Boots Botanics night cream, and facial oil, are fab. Also often on offer. (I don’t find the serum works with makeup fir me, so just use it at night.)

Oh wow! Loads of suggestions! Thank you. I’m going to keep an eye out for the micellar water. I’ve just bought a new waterproof mascara and sounds like that will be handy for hols.

I’ve just been to boots and bought some new summer make up in their buy one get one half price offer. So far, super impressed with my new revlon colourstay eyeshadow and bourjois serum foundation...

@WittgensteinsBunny, I'm interested in the ordinary products you've used, could you tell us a bit more?

@Bezalelle, could you post a link to the cream?

Thanks in advance, ladies.

I'm using the cleanser, glycolic acid toner, hyalaronic acid, buffet and then my normal moisturiser. I switch out the toner in the morning for my normal toner and add on an spf cc cream. I'm planning to try their moisturiser when my jar runs out and maybe the oil for the evening. The caffeine under eye stuff hasn't really worked for me. It made me a little bit sore under my eyes.

I have touch sensitive cheeks, dehydrated skin and my nose has been a bit congested after a period of not being that on top of my skincare. I'm been using biore strips once a week and my skin is so much better for this regime after a couple of weeks.

I'm def going to try the micellar water and poss the Superdrug cleansing oil too.
