DP has decided he would LOVE me to join him in Law Vegas for a work trip at the end of July. Yay! Except I am frumpy and hate heat. Plus indoors is 16 degrees out doors is 40+. I'm bribed by the East coast stop on the way back (hence me going in the first place!)
I need help on style!! I'm 5ft 3 and pear shape. Size 14 hips and 10-12 On top, I have a really narrow back. Despite a smaller top my upper arms are a hideous flabby monstrosity.
Can anyone suggest some knee length dresses, styles or brands for business casual (joining DP at networking) that might actually suit me and the climate?
And some top layers for hiding my arms and defending myself from the air con?
Budget is mid range.
I have no style (not for a late 20s at least) but generally like to lean towards modesty. Dressed I normally stick to skater style but think it might not be great as it's then a huge jump to hips and they tend to be shorter than I'd like. I love Kate Middleton's style but dont think i have the shape or size for it. Generally clueless and it's actually making me dread going out there.
