Any eyelash technicians on here?

I have been having eyelash extensions for quite a while but I’ve recently been finding that the long lashes on the outside corner of my eye seem to drag my eye downwards (not weight-wise just looks) I’m 40 and have hooded eyes anyway and I think they are making my eyes look more droopy than they are. I was wondering if it’s possible to have the longer ones more to the middle of the eye and graduating down either side if that makes sense? Or is that not the way it’s done? I think it would open up my eyes more.

Not a lash tech but am a nail tech and have a lash tech in the salon. I also have lashes on myself.
I don't see why it wouldn't be possible (although I can't see your eyes 👀) I would drop your tech a message and tell her about your concerns and ask what she can do to help you rectify it. Any good tech will be more than happy to do another consultation with you at your next appointment to iron out any problems 😊

Thanks, I might mention it next time then, I just wondered if I would be asking something stupid that wouldn’t be possible! I just have noticed that sometimes when the outer long ones have naturally fallen out that it does open up my eyes a bit more.

Didn’t want to post a photo of my old droopy eyes but just googled a hooded eye pic and this seems to confirm what I thought

No I don't think it's stupid at all we get asked all sorts of questions in the salon on a regular basis so your tech won't think it is silly.
If they are not working for you the way they are I am sure she will be happy to sort them out for you 😊
