Oh yeah - Hugh Grant, I'd forgotten that. He seems a much more obvious choice.

Together three years, according to my extensive tabloid research. Wink

Imran Khan was definitely a looker in his youth and looked younger than his years too.

Oh yes, @Queen 🤗🤭

But he always gave off that very conservative, traditional vibe. Hardly a marriage for a wealthy London party girl half his age!

QueenOfTheAndals · 02/07/2019 09:52

CLARKSON! That's who Jemima was linked with a few years ago! Jeremy Clarkson. God, I'd come out and deny it too.

A conservative vibe yet he was happy to play the field in his bachelor years @DevonUkelele! Didn't he have a daughter by some English heiress who's since passed away? Sita someone?

Hmm ... code for hypocrisy, @Queen 😉. There seems to be an awful lot of it about!

Jeremy Clarkson - my god, what is the woman thinking?! She does seem to have a type, and not a great one!

QueenOfTheAndals · 02/07/2019 10:02

I don't think she was actually with Clarkson, that was just a rumour. She can't possibly be that depraved!

Spudlet · 02/07/2019 10:38

I mean Imran Khan was at least good looking. Clarkson, though?! Surely not!

pinkground202 · 02/07/2019 10:41

Jemima was in a relationship with Russell Brand for a while wasn't she? Polar opposite to Imran I would have thought!

Inniu · 02/07/2019 10:43

I would think that William is probably comforted by the fact that his mother touched so many people and has a positive enduring legacy.
It seems he talked to the small group of people who hold 2 vigils a year for her and he knew their names.

I can’t imagine he will let it become an annual thing as he left as soon as other people started gathering.

queenofarles · 02/07/2019 11:12

Didn’t she go out with jack Whitehall too?

I don’t think Imran at that time was that conservative, I think she probably couldn’t cope with living in Pakistan . She did spend a lot of time in London with her children, but at some point she had to be near her husband who was just launching his political career, and she couldn’t continue being physically in Pakistan while wishing to be back home in London.

BigGreenOlives · 02/07/2019 11:13

I am a little bit older than Jemima Goldsmith and for what it’s worth would have run off with Imran Khan at the chance. I had a few British/Pakistani cricketer friends closer in age and they were amazing looking. Rehan & Rohan Alikhan - pre internet days, I found a picture of one of them when he played for Surrey but it’s too low resolution.

DOC is going to Wimbledon today

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 02/07/2019 12:06

Kate really seems to have found her strength engaging with children. And William is looking a lot more confident in his role. I wonder how and by whom they are being guided because they are certainly getting it right.

I do wish people wouldn't compare and contrast W&K with H&M. They are in very different positions. My feeling is that the rift could be due to H&M failing to grasp this, and W's court being heavy handed in asserting its authority. Purely my impression, no insider knowledge, before the frothers get going.

DevonUkelele · 02/07/2019 12:14

Kate's on her way. Only this pic on Twitter so far - no Meghan, as far as I am aware.

Whoops ... on her way to Wimbledon, that is (my kingdom for an edit button Blush)

Disfordarkchocolate · 02/07/2019 12:19

I very much like the dress but not the belt or now on the lapel, it looks lovely and cool.

DevonUkelele · 02/07/2019 12:23

Isn't the bow something to do with Wimbledon? Or, rather the colours of the All England club?

At first glance, that could almost be H&M with the baby stroller in the background!

Cute earrings today! DM link you have been warned

The box bag is TINY and the black heels again a bit heavy for me, I dislike block heels though.

QueenOfTheAndals · 02/07/2019 12:42

She looks like she's off to crack codes at Bletchley! A very 1940s look. The bag is tiny, like she's borrowed one of Charlotte's!

UrsulaPandress · 02/07/2019 12:53

DD has a similar sized bag. Must be in.

Paradyning · 02/07/2019 12:55

A bow on the lapel? Why. Whyyyyy

QueenOfTheAndals · 02/07/2019 12:56

Apparently the bag is custom made McQueen. I guess she doesn't need to put much in it, just tissues, lipstick and phone.

OP posts:
Wetdogloveshubert · 02/07/2019 12:59

The bow does look like a ladies' version of the All England Club tie?

AppleKatie · 02/07/2019 13:16

What has she got in that bag? Only looks big enough for tampons and surely not in such a very white dress 😂

Wildorchidz · 02/07/2019 13:20

She needs a shoe intervention

Spudlet · 02/07/2019 13:24

Remove all the bows and burn them, and it would be quite nice... not loving the bows though. I like most of her Wimbledon outfits, but this one is a miss for me.
