Looking for suggestions for a ‘naice’ top to wear to the evening part of a wedding. Ideally navy or green but any ‘autumn colour’ would do. The problem is I’ve lost all track of where to shop for slightly dressier items, my entire wardrobe is ‘smart casual’. I always veer on the casual side of smart even when dressed up.
I’m 43, size 10 but top heavy (30FF and broad shoulders). I don’t wear sleeveless things and also dislike billowing sleeves as they swamp me. So short/half/three quarter length sleeves.
Bonus if it could be worn for an upcoming christening too, or at least for smart workwear, as don’t like buying occasionwear which just hangs in my wardrobe afterwards. Anyone seen anything that fits the bill?
