I like them but that's probably cause I'm mid forties and they remind me of my first trainers

Who cares what others think though? If they are comfy and you like them bloody wear them??!

I asked my 30 ear old DH who said ‘personally no’

He suggested continental 80’s if you’re after something with a retro look?

I'm all for comfort and live in trainers most of the years. Sometimes I've went for comfort first and style last(not that I have any) and I wouldn't wear them unless they were the only thing I had left.

I like them. I also have Continental 80s as mentioned upthread, but mainly live in Stan Smiths - I have white, black, and navy - and can vouch for the fact they are super-comfy. I have small feet (4) and can get kids’ shoes which go up to a U.K. 5 and are so much cheaper.
