Help me with tights please!

I’m a bit of a stranger to all this dressing up malarkey but have an occasion to go to.

I’ll be wearing a linen dress and blazer with closed shoes.

My legs are pretty unsightly and I’d prefer to wear some nude tights but have horrible images of Nora Batty in my mind as I have no experience of the things.

Can anyone suggest the best nude tights for me that are not of the nana-wear or ice skater variety?

Not sure about nude tights, sorry - I don’t wear them either! You’d have to get a pair that suits your skin tone very well, as otherwise the tights may look a bit weird in person.

However would sheer/low denier (eg 20 den) dark tights work with your outfit? They won’t be as overpowering as opaque tights so could be another option if you can’t find a good nude pair

Dark tights definitely won’t go - it’s a summery outfit!

I wear snag tights - their sheers are decent and thick enough not to be one wear only!

In what way are your legs unsightly? If it's just milk bottle legs why not slap on some fake tan instead? I hate my legs but find them much more acceptable with a bit of a glow

Idrink I’ve got awful strawberry legs. I’m on it with dry brushing/Korean towel and ameliorate lotion but at the moment I have lots of irritated red bumps. Will invest in a Lumea soon, which should help.

If it's to hot for tights op then give Sally Hanson airbrushed legs ago.

Not as dark as a fake tan and just makes legs look better.'
Won't transfer on clothes but will wash off in shower.

Just wanted to update - I went for the Wolford Luxe 9 in Cosmetic, which were very comfortable and looked fine.

Unfortunately the big toe on each foot went through half way into the event, which was quite uncomfortable and that’s £19 in the bin!
