I tried out an ill fitting bra...

I wear a 32 back and a large cup size. I wanted a soft bra to wear in bed but didn't fancy paying Bravissimo prices so I bought a soft cup bra in Asda in a 36 back so that I could get a bigger cup size. I knew it wouldn't fit 'properly' but it is roughly the right cup size in terms of volume and I thought for bed and lounging it would be fine.

Oh my! I now know why women who use the 'add 5' method so often talk about their bras being torture. It's so so bad. If I move my arms my boobs pop out of it Confused. Grin And it makes my boobs look far far bigger than they are.

I have always worn a snug fitting bra and could never understand why women find bras so uncomfortable, and now I understand!

After having DC2 I didn't want to buy a load of new bras as I knew my rib cage and boobs would eventually go back to the previous size. I needed about a 32, but had some old 36s in bigger cup left, so decided that how bad can it be?
As you say - so, so bad. My back was hurting like hell after just one day, and there was no support. And to think I was wearing 34-36 backs as a teen, as there wasn't anything in my actual back and cup available..
