Cheap good primer?

I'm looking for a cheap primer for my niece. Any recommendations please?

I love The Ordinary - their primer and serum foundation are great, nice coverage without being too heavy

How old is your niece? I'd second the ordinary (from what people say) and add that I've used Maybelline and Max Factor and they did nothing but many swear by them
