Any recommendations for a gradual tan that doesn't smell like biscuits, and also gives a nice natural colour?

St Tropez watermelon.

They all smell like biscuits as the colour develops - it's an unavoidable effect of the chemical which darkens the skin. I use Garnier Summer Body, so I go to bed smelling of apricots, but wake up smelling like old digestives Sad.

Superdrug own brand gradual tan in a pink bottle definitely does not smell. Has been a revelation!

Palmers Cocoa Butter - smells really chocolatey but haven't noticed the biscuit smell. Maybe the chocolate masks it!

Samantha Sona Self-Tan

Goes a lovely colour and does not smell. At all. Or stain your clothes, which is a bonus.

I like the James Read gradual sleep tan. Still smells a bit but as you wash off in the morning the smell doesn’t linger on you. Also seems to be effective despite the fact I am rubbish at things like fake tan!

I use the Skinny Tan Gradual Tan Lotion. It’s really great and I can’t say I’ve noticed a biscuit smell - more like vanilla really. My partner said it smells lovely, he asked what it was when I first used it!

Lusso tan is the only one I've ever come across that doesn't have that smell.

The st tropez in-shower one definitely doesn’t smell. You can be a bit slapdash with it too and it doesn’t streak. I use it daily if I want to build up colour quickly.

Palmers doesn't but it does smell like chocolate. Clarins drops doesn't because you put it in your own moisturiser.
