...what tops can I wear with them? I have about four pairs, all dark-ish colours but quite bold prints. I need tops to wear with them that can’t be strappy vest tops/too revealing as I’ll be wearing them for work. Any suggestions/links greatly appreciated! (Budget as cheap as possible Grin)

I think just very plain t shirts are best with loose patterned trousers. Tucked in or French tucked at the front at the very least. Something like www.esprit.co.uk/slub-v-neck-t-shirt-100-cotton-128CC1K049_100

Hi OP M & S have some nice drapey (not baggy) vests in at the mo about £8 and 3 for 2 at mo. Like you I have some loose trousers and shorts I wanted tops for but not spaghetti strap IYSWIM? I went for the "Relaxed Fit". They do T Shirts in the same range which I've bought to wear with a gorgeous long flowy skirt in October - we're off to Rome and I wanted something pretty but comfortable and suitable for going into the Vatican and others churches. These are perfect. They all washed up nice yesterday too.

If the trousers are wide expect you want fitted tops to balance. I think you can’t go wrong with these from h and m £4 100% cotton. They are cheap but do ok if you line rather than tumble dry them

I go fitted T-shirt.

I live in palazzo pants, and always wear vest tops with a nice lightweight cardigan because I hate showing my arms, or a fitted T-shirt.

A plain T-shirt - Sainsbury's have this one in at the moment that is really nice soft fabric and the v neck is flattering. I've bought two of these - they're really drapy so you can do a half tuck and it falls nicely. I would upsize though - I'm a 12 but bought 16s.
