Clothes for safari

My daughter (age 20) is off to South Africa for a college trip next month (22nd July) for 2 weeks. Most of the time will be on game drives. We are going shopping for clothes later today. Any useful ideas on what we should be buying? Trying to keep the costs as low as possible as the trip has cost a fortune already!

It's winter in South Africa so warm jacket needed for early morning game drives and evenings. I have an old non down padded jacket. Sweatshirt and a few neutral colour tshirts no red or bright colours especially if she's doing a walking safari. Chinos, flip flops and trainers.
