Are angled lobs still in?

I’m considering a chop and like the idea of an angled lob. Am I years out of date?

I hope not, I am due at the hairdressers in an hour and was thinking of asking for an angled lob.

GemmeFatale · 22/06/2019 18:24

Did you go for it in the end?

Is it a can I speak to the manager type Bob ?

Atalune · 22/06/2019 18:37

A little dated I think, but....who cares really!

Queenioqueenio · 22/06/2019 20:19

I think so, I had one in Nov and felt old fashioned. A blunt longer bob with a wave in it is more modern now.

DontPressSendTooSoon · 22/06/2019 22:09

I think they've looked dated since around 2009.

Moominfan · 22/06/2019 22:10

I think longer rather than shorter is in. I still think it was one of Vicky bs best hair cuts

lhastingsmua · 22/06/2019 22:46

Long bob with a blunt one length cut is the current trend

Flapdoodles · 23/06/2019 10:00

GemmeFatale yes I had it done. The hairdresser has actually cut it shorter than I wanted, but the front longer part touches my shoulders so it's not really short. I had it styled with a wave - I am just hoping I can style it the same!

dontgobaconmyheart · 23/06/2019 12:13

I think it is a bit dated now yes. Especially if worn straight and at the short end of a lob, and very definitely if the graduation is severe.

Agree that one length blunt or very slight graduation worn in a deconstructed wave is the current trend. I wish the trend for a middle parting would bugger off though, I look like one of the founding fathers if I try it.
