Rapidbrow is amazing. I'm going in with Rapidlash.

I've been using Rapidbrow for about 7 weeks. Nothing seemed to happen for the first five and now they are definitely returning to their former bushy splendour. My Rapidlash has arrived so I'm going to see if that's as good. Any other fans? ( Ironically I'm also getting tempted by an IPL to remove leg hair permanently. Why can't hair grow where we want?)

Tell me more. Any pics? Please post pics people! I think I need rapidlash to replace my love of eyelash extensions!

I don't want to out myself on here with a photo. There are lots if you Google. I'd always had thick brows, but age, the 90s and possibly the odd overzealous threader meant that they were getting a bit thin. I used to regularly get them threaded at Blink but haven't been for over 18 months and haven't even plucked one hair in that time. After about 7 weeks of twice daily application, they are now really full. I'm going to try and hold off another couple of weeks before getting them threaded into shape, but they definitely need it. The standard rrp is about £38, but I bought it for £23 from Amazon. I still have plenty left. I bought a replacement yesterday through Amazon Prime Subscribe & Save. There was a 40 % off promotion so I got it for about £12. I used the promotion on the Rapidlash too so got that for about £14. The Rapidbrow does have to be used twice daily for at least 6 weeks to get a result and you have to continue it or they revert to their former sparseness. After I've had them threaded I'm going to go down to evening only for maintenance. I was sceptical and had used Blink night eyebrow balm and then their oil diligently for the last couple of years ( from Liberty Advent Calendars) with no effect, but the Rapidbrow actually works.

Are you on commission? Hmm

But strange to come on here raving about how wonderful this stuff is and not post any pics. You can't be identified by only your brows.

So how much have you spent on this so far and if they go sparse once you stop using it does that mean you're on it for life?

Housewife2010 · 22/06/2019 09:57

I'm not on commission. I thought this was the Style & Beauty board where we share our beauty finds. I've been using my original £23 tube twice daily for 7 weeks and there's plenty left. In my post I did say that after I've had them threaded I will go down to evening only so it will obviously last twice as long. I was excited that after being concerned about my sparse brows and nothing working, I have found something that works very well. Some of my friends are Mumsnet readers and I have a right to my privacy. There are plenty of before and after photos if you Google.

I'd love to try this OP, have heard of great success stories. My concern is that if it has to be applied in the morning and evening, what do you do re makeup after you've applied it? I could not go to work without my makeup on. Is it greasy/sticky? Would it be obvious that I've got it on my brows?

Housewife2010 · 22/06/2019 10:44

In the morning I use it instead of my usual brow gel and it works fine and holds them in place. I brush through with a brow brush first to remove any makeup and brush them up then apply the Rapidbrow.

I have it on at the moment and my brows feel fine - definitely not crispy like when I used the Anastasia brow gel.

It rated #9 with these cons:

Cons:

Definite eye irritation noticed
Darkening of skin area around the eyes on some of our reviewers
While lashes lengthened and thickened, some of our reviewers experienced breakage after month 9

Interesting! I’m using it but only in the last three weeks or so. Glad to hear it works!

And seeing this thread reminded me I hadn’t put it on this morning so I’ve just done it. So thanks OP.

I've been using Rapidbrow for about three weeks and little hairs are definitely starting to sprout where they previously haven't. I've got very thin brows so am looking forward to a future of Delavinge like bushiness!

FairySunbath · 22/06/2019 12:15

I had a bad experience with a lash lift before Christmas (entirely my own fault) and ended up with eyelashes pointing in different directions. Then they became really sparse. I thought I'd give Vichy LiftActiv Serum for Eyes and Lids a go. It's brilliant stuff and worked wonders - I wish I had before and after photos!

I'm aware this sounds like an advert but I swear it's not!
