They say they don't do Chanel because of copyright reasons and that Chanel would sue the arse off them. But if you find the ingredient list for the perfume you want and search on PP using those notes I seem to remember you get a hit.

Spike is no 5
Invisible is Coco
Fabric is Chance
Faint is Allure
Perfect is no 19
Clear is Cristalle

Anyone know what Mademoiselle is please ?

LadyOfTheCanyon · 22/06/2019 07:42

Adoring. But it's not very good.

They do Chanel but they are very well hidden and often name change.
I have several but no good me giving you the names because they've changed. They are quite obscure iirc.
(For example my Chanel 19 has a different name to Lady's)
I would agree that Chanel (and Dior) are brands that PP can't quite pull off, due to the expense and complexity of the original ingredients. Unlike simpler miee linear fragrances which they do perfectly.
That said, I have Sycomore which is spot on and I can't wait for them to do the needful Eaux which are lovely but pretty simple in their makeup...

APO do Chanel dupes, their dupe of Coromandel EDP is spot on. I haven't tried any other Chanel dupes of theirs, but they tend to get it right.

evilharpy · 22/06/2019 09:55

Is their Chance dupe good?

LadyOfTheCanyon · 22/06/2019 10:02

To be fair, the Coco M dupe is the only one I've tried - for the others I just put in the main notes and deduced what was what from the reviews.

PP is hardly ever spot on but as a lot of perfumes smell totally different from person to person they're worth a punt at the price.

Successes I've had: Escape, Acqua Di Gio, Bloom, most Jo Malone copies are good because they're so simple. The really sweet fragrances are good too because the blast of gourmand carries them a long way.

Thank you - will have a search and also look at APO
