If you're in your 30s, where do you shop?

I'm 34 and at the moment I feel a bit like everywhere is either a bit too old or a bit too young for me.

I like casual plain clothes, everything seems to be bold floral prints. Most of the stuff I like is probably more aimed at teenagers. It doesn't help that I'm stuck between a size 12 and a 14. 12 a bit too small but 14 swamps me, really annoying and struggling to lose a stone is which would make me my ideal weight.

Oh, and Reformation, Anthropologie and Massimo Dutti.

mid 30s here. I try not to shop much these days and wear all I have to death before buying new things. Bought a few things from NAP sale though. Other than that - Theory, DVF/Zimmermann for dresses, Matches, Gap, banana republic, jigsaw. For sports lululemon and nike.

Expressedways · 21/06/2019 16:51

30 here. Mostly Uniqlo, Zara, & other stories, maje, the kooples, whistles, Reiss, Anthropologie.

Shitonthebloodything · 21/06/2019 18:52

I'm 35 and shop mostly in DP's, Newlook, Next and Primark. I always see lovely things in Oasis and Warehouse but they're usually over my budget.

Cotswoldmama · 21/06/2019 21:44

I'm 35 and still shop where I always have H&M, new look, primark and topshop. My style has changed a bit since having children but not much. I've got some dresses in my wardrobe that I wore when I was 18 and I still where them now!

othgraph · 21/06/2019 21:51

Uniqlo for work basics. I quite like the slightly oversized and laid back (think Scandi inspired) look so Selected and Samsoe and Samsoe are good labels to go to. Also shop at Olive clothing and Comptoir des Cotonniers. Recently started shopping again at Anthropologie but still find their pieces a bit hard to wear.

I understand where you’re coming from OP.

I used to like warehouse a lot and liked oasis and topshop but feel I’ve outgrown them and don’t think they’re as good quality these days.

I like Reiss and Ted Baker (not the “out there” stuff bit their suits, jackets and coats) for smart things. I like Gap t shirts and some basic tops. I also joke Gap jeans and have some jeggings from Dorothy Perkins that I like but don’t usually shop there.

Think I need to check out Cos and Uniqlo

I'm 34. Size 14.

Hush
H&M
Zara
Topshop (jeans and some basic t shirts)
ASOS
All Saints

I get where you’re coming from OP.. I’m 36, and I used to shop a lot in topshop, but feel it’s a bit young these days, and I’m just not keen on a lot of their recent stuff (still have some older things I wear though). I love boden for jersey dresses (they often have 25% off everything online deals). And I know it’s a considered a bit mumsy on here, but I like the mantaray bay bit in Debenhams for some casual bits.

avalanching · 21/06/2019 22:22

FatFace, have loved it since I was a teenager although MN tells me it's mumsy 🤷‍♀️

BunnyJumps · 21/06/2019 22:23

Oasis baby!

avalanching · 21/06/2019 22:59

If you like plain clothes you can't go wrong with Gap and H&M.

AliceRR · 22/06/2019 00:07

Meant to say I’m 35, size 8(ish)
