an elusive backpack

Years and years ago I saw a lady in a cafe with a backpack that zipped all the way around and opened totally flat in two halves- each half being it's own contained pocket.
It was this sort of thing (the internal 'walls' were transparent) but in a backpack obviously- not a cosmetic case. I've scoured charity shops and ebay but never come across one- anyone seen anything similar or the same?

Google “clamshell backpack”. I have a Eastpak carry on case that is exactly as you describe but haven’t seen a backpack with two zippered compartments.

Briggs & Riley do clamshell backpacks (but not with two self contained sections); I have one for overnight work travel which was expensive but is absolutely marvellous.
