Best Eyelash Curler?

I’m either not using the right eyelash curler (usually just grab the cheapest one from Boots) or I haven’t got the right technique (just clamp lashes for about 10 seconds) as using one never seems to make any difference!

Does anyone have a holy grail curler or technique?

Tweezerman ones from boots! Cost quite a bit compared to the cheap ones but last aaages and are really amazing. The little rubber inserts last ages too and you get some spares. Worth the investment, had mine for years.
I like to curl at the base of eyelashes for a lift and then more gently press the curly further up the eyelash (not too hard or you'll have a line) this creates more of a curl than eyelashes poking up at a right angle.

I've been using the Kevyn Aucoin ones for the last 6 months and they are excellent. They always feature in the 'Top 5' lists. Other than that, the Japanese brands like Shu Uemura or Shiseido are always highly rated.
