Starting my whole wardrobe from scratch

I've always been a very petite size 6, I've never bought a load of clothes at once just picked stuff up over the years. I'm 23 so it's all quite, youthful. Lots of ultra skinny jeans, crop tops etc. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant and have put on a lot of weight during pregnancy, and I don't think I'm going to bounce back to only fitting in topshops petite range. I imagine I'm going to be about a size 8/10 afterwards (fingers crossed)

I've saved up about £600 to just start from scratch. I've felt for a few years like I don't really like my clothes anymore and now being a bigger size and becoming a mum I think it's time for a style overhaul, perhaps less body showyoffy and more classy. I just don't know where to start! If you had to start from scratch, what would you get, what quantities etc? I'm so clueless! I usually shop at topshop or online on PLT or missguided but feel it might be time to try new places.

You need to forget looking youthful once you have the DC. You will need mum clothes and mum boots, a yellow waterproof jacket and stripy top. Shops to try are Seasalt, Boden, Hush, Fat Face and Clarks. You can also try F&F and Tu.

Mike you have just described me. 😶

I too need a style overhaul. I'm working on it.

OP my advice is to make sure that each item has a purpose and that you join each item together. Google capsule wardrobes.

I was only joking. OP, I would not buy much to start with as your body may be going through a lot of changes and you probably won't be that worried about what you wear. You might find that once the baby is a few months old you will be back to your size 6 body.
You are only 23.

You’re 23, of course you can still be youthful! Being a mum won’t change that. Also, you may find you do go back to your pre pregnancy still. I wouldn’t spend all your budget at once, wait a few months at least and see how you feel then.

I was in Topshop petite 6 last year and am now in Topshop 8 a few weeks after delivery. I would suggest waiting it out because you will probably bounce back to being a size 6, and you are only 23 so keep on being youthful!
