Please help me find a dress for a beach wedding

It's literally going to be on the beach. It will be pretty informal (the bride will be wearing flip flops). And it will be hot & sticky. Ideally I would like something floaty, midi or maxi length, with short sleeves or straps (not strapless). And I would really like something in a lightweight material that won't make me all sweaty. Oh, and something that won't crease too easily either. The list is never ending .

Can anyone please help me find something suitable? The wedding isn't actually until October but I don't want to leave it till then to look as all the summer clothes will be long gone. Thank you to anyone that can help.

Thank you all for those suggestions. I quite like the anthropologie maxi and the other stories blue one. Think I'm definitely leaning towards something that's not one solid colour.

Just adding this...it is over budget, but it's silk, floaty and looks stunning...saw it in Jigsaw sale yesterday.

I’d definitely be looking at linen or cotton, long flowing dress. I’d usually say no black but for a beach wedding it might be okay (I’d check with bride beforehand just to be on the safe side, and I would accessorise with a lovely colourful raffia bag or other bright and cheerful accessories).

I’d be looking at places like The White Company, Toast, whistles, Reiss.

Thank you for all the suggestions. They helped a lot and eventually led me to this dress, which I've ordered. I absolutely love the colours and think they'd be perfect for the beach (not sure about the waistband or the seam down the front of the skirt though). Keeping fingers crossed that when it arrives and I try it on it will look good!
