Lucy & Yak dungas

I've been ruminating over a black pair for a while but they were OOS in the ones I wanted so I bought a navy pair of knock offs on eBay. Problem is most of my wardrobe is yellow and navy, with a tiny bit of pink, white and grey, and like an idiot I forgot that wearing a yellow t-shirt under navy dungas is akin to dressing up as a Minion. I should have bought grey...

Anyone here with black Lucy & Yaks? Do you find there is anything they don't go with?

Navy dungies with a white or cream top underneath?

I have the black cord ones and think most light-coloured tops underneath would go to be honest, although I am naturally drawn to white with stripes or pale blue.

Yeah, I've got white Breton with navy stripes today and that works. They are super comfy but I dangled one strap in the loo earlier which wasn't ideal..

I have brown and blue Umis. To be honest you do end up needing to buy tops to go with them - I did anyway! But I partly didn't buy black because I have so many navy tops they would clash with.

I love them but wanted patterned ones but they didn't have woven ones in the style I wanted.
Might get plain ones but the only colour that I liked was the midnight black, and it's not the blackest black. Most of my t-shirts are black or navy.
The customer service and the garment quality is excellent.
I ordered a patterned pair but the fabric was printed and I didn't like it so they went back.

I loved everything about them apart from the feel of the fabric. The plain or woven fabric is probably fine.
They are loose fit, and having seen someone in a pair that were not loose, I would recommend following their size guidelines.

Oh I really don't want to have to buy tops to go with them. I'm trying to "shop my wardrobe" rather than buying new stuff so even buying these ones was a bit of a guilty pleasure. Love them though. Despite the disparaging comments from DH about whether I'm off to do some painting. I do have quite a few striped tops so should get enough out of them. Still think I look a bit like a minion though...Blush

What's wrong with looking like a minion?
I am itching to order ones but I don't want to buy t-shirts.

FleurNancy · 20/06/2019 00:44

Um, I just don't want to look like a Minion. Although I do have two eyes and don't tend to wear goggles often.

:-)
Been looking at them again but I'll just have to wait until they have a colour I like ... unless I get black. I probably have bright t-shirts if I look in my t-shirts I don't wear drawer.
I don't like corduroy and when I look on ebay they don't have my size.
