Help me fashionistas! I need a neat jersey jacket.

I have to go to a smart/casual (oh how I HATE that dress code) event in a couple of weeks. I don’t want to wear an office type jacket so I thought a jersey one would be a good compromise. But all the ones I have seen so far are too loose and blazery. I’m too short, fat and busty for those, I’d look like I was about to set sail.

Anyone bought something recently they think might fit the bill? Budget is up to £80 ish.

I tried both of these recently - both are lovely on. I only kept the Cos one as it went better with the other things I was wearing, but if I was a jackety sort of person (I'm really not) I'd have kept both.

Try Oasis. They keep ad targeting me with a grey one in their sale.

Uniqlo have Jersey blazers, worth a look

Uniqlo Cotton jersey jackets - I’ve repeat bought them in several colours for the past three years.

The Uniqlo ones are great - I wear these for work and they're often reduced.

Also, try J Crew - although a bit pricier.
