Recommend me a light weight foundation

I have fairly oily skin and do suffer from breakouts. I also have quite pink toned skin round my nose and chin so need something that evens all that out.
However i hate the feeling of foundation on my face.
Ive been using concealer on the bits i need covered but even that feels too heavy.
Ideally I'd like a super lightweight foundation that i can just use in the areas that need help.
Does such a product exist?

I have Bobbi Brown skin foundation and I think it’s super light in that you can build it up or not. Doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. I recommend

BlueMerchant · 16/06/2019 21:11

Using Loreal true match at the moment and it's very lightweight. I use it to even out the parts I need to. Feels like I'm wearing no make-up.

The ordinary serum foundation. Fab and only £6

Notsureabouthis · 16/06/2019 21:27

Love the new Clinique Even Better Refresh. It’s Dewey but good for oily skins. Fab stuff!

I have oily skin too and use a light dusting of Lily Lolo mineral foundation. I love it, IMO it gets better as the day goes on.

Water weight by MAC

firsttimemummy11 · 16/06/2019 21:40

No7 Hydraluminous is really good :)

Banhaha · 16/06/2019 21:41

A second vote for loreal true match.

Accountant222 · 16/06/2019 21:53

Olay BB cream is very good

HappyLoneParentDay · 16/06/2019 22:46

Bourgois CC cream actually works as a fantastic light coverage foundation. £10 a tube and worth every penny!! X

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua
Just what I came on to say. It’s as invisible as make up gets but really flattering. It’s like putting on prettiness.

avamiah · 16/06/2019 23:26

Hi OP,
I love Clarins tinted Moisturiser in Sand .
It’s not too heavy or too light and looks great on the skin.
You could also get the concealer that would match with it and it covers any little spot or imperfection brilliantly.
Just pop into a large department store and you can test the colours out and the Clarins team are always very friendly and helpful in my experience.
Good luck
Xx

Nars all day Weightless. Go to Space NK to try it out.

KirstyVal · 17/06/2019 09:59

Oh I recently started using an amazing MAC one. It's one for everyday and is so light.

I can't remember what it is called though! But if you go into a debenhams of John Lewis I'm sure they can direct you.

LoafofSellotape · 17/06/2019 10:10

The No 7 Hydraluminous is good but can't be described as light weight,it's pretty heavy duty.

I really rate Lily Lolo but my absolute fave is ELDW, lots of moisturiser and a small amount where you need it applied with a brush and it looks very natural. The key ime is to get the right shade, it can look very 'flat' otherwise.

DefinatelyAWeeGobshite · 17/06/2019 10:38

Clinique vitalumiere is lovely and light, Benefit also do a very very similar one, the hello happy foundations

My favourite light foundation though is the Urban Decay naked, it’s sheer to medium coverage, buildable and never feels like you have anything on your skin.

pinkground202 · 17/06/2019 11:11

I have the Dior Nude Air Serum, it's amazing, so light but gives a beautiful finish.

pinkground202 · 17/06/2019 11:15

For everyday I use the Chanel Les Bieges tinted moisturiser, really light but gives me a healthy glow ( I am very pale, pink toned)

The Dior is more of a flawless skin look, I wear it if I'm going out, the Chanel is my healthy, I got a great nights sleep look!

GoldPaperStars · 17/06/2019 11:18

I’m the same as you and hate being able to feel makeup on my skin. I’ve found that Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is absolutely perfect for me. You can easily layer it if you want a bit more coverage and it’s still so light that you can’t feel it on.

nothingwittyhere · 17/06/2019 12:19

Dior Backstage. If you can work out your colour, it's available from Boots online.

MightyMunki · 17/06/2019 12:31

The bourjois CC cream is fab, doesn’t look cakey but gives a really light even look to the skin.

Plump82 · 18/06/2019 06:42

Thanks so much for all these suggestions. I'm going to investigate them all and see what ones i like the sound of most. I actually have Loreal True Match and had forgot all about it so ill dig that out and give it a go again.

I second the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue.

Also, Laura Gellar. Either Balance & Brighten or Balance & Glow. Both are ‘powders’. Buildable and not powdery.

smallgreyelephant · 18/06/2019 06:49

NARS sheer glow.
I have spot prone skin and read about this in an article by a dermo.
It has been a game-changer for me. I cant recommend it highly enough.
