Tweaking skincare for summer

Afternoon all hoping to get some advice.

I've now pared my skincare right down to -

AM Cleanse with miscellar water, Vitamin C serum and an eye cream followed by SPF50 cream. Then make up.

PM Double cleanse (oil then a cleansing water), acid exfoliating wipes 2/3 nights, retinol every other evening, eye cream then a cheap and cheerful moisturiser like Nivea soft.

Skin is looking great and I'm saving a fortune.

We're going to Spain for a fortnight in a few weeks and I'm wondering what to do about the acid type products as I know you've got to be really careful with sun sensitivity. I'll be SPF 50 all over including face in the day so shall I leave the acid stuff at home totally? Should I stop a few days before we go too? I'm guessing the Vit C is still important?

I want to make sure my skins protected and not overpack a million products I'll never use. And trying to convince myself I DO NOT NEED the M & S summer box.

Thanks all Smile

You are right: stop all acid and retinol a week before your holiday and don’t take it with you. They can make your skin super sensitive to the sun.

Thanks Maraki, had no idea to stop retinol too.

It's a bummer as my skin looks fab!
