Mascara which doesn't flake onto skin around eyes?

I have used variations of Maybelline mascaras for a while, currently the Lash Sensational one but I'm finding it seems to shed lots of little "bits" and flakes under my eyes! What type of mascara (which isn't madly expensive) would solve this problem? It doesn't need to be waterproof particularly. Thanks for any recommendations!

I used to have this problem, and I'd end up with panda eyes even with waterproof mascara.

I now use l'Oreal double extension beauty tube mascara. Does not budge or flake or bleed at all.

Benefit They're Real never flakes or smudges

TooOldForThisWhoCares · 16/06/2019 12:52

Ah thanks both. Is it tubing mascara I need then?

L'Oréal paradise is really good! As is the literal volume million lashes. I'd say paradise is better though

Are you sure it's not your skin care around Ike eyes that's causing the flaking? When my mascara flakes it's usually due to too much eye cream or something similar.

I swear by Maxfactor 2000 calorie. I’ve always used it and so has my mum for as long as i can remember. I’ve tried other brands from time to time but always come back to it. It’s also not too pricey.

No7 Stay perfect is very good, and not expensive. No smudging or flaking. Gives a more natural look though so maybe not for you if you prefer a more exaggerated lash look.

Hm not sure re: eye cream Buster. I'm using la Roche posay redermic r cream to instructions but I'm pretty sure this has been going on longer than I've been using that. Will have a look into these other suggestions thanks Folks. I'm having LVL lashes done in about a month so hoping mascara will not be required for a while after that!

Sorry should have added I use the la Roche posay at night at nip and fab needle fix in the day for eye cream.

Blinc tubing mascara. I had the same problem as you and this solved it.

ASilhouetteAndNothingMore · 18/06/2019 18:25

Ive used rimmel waterproof for years, never had any flaky problems. I worked nights for a while as well (lots of eye rubbing)

Clinique do a specific bottom lash mascara which doesn't flake or smudge.
