Comfy trousers anyone?

I have lived in leggings since having dd, and she's almost a year old now Blush. My 2 remaining pairs of "good" leggings now have holes in BlushBlush.
I need to go shopping, but don't know where to start. I desperately want to be comfortable, but I want to feel good too.
Can anybody recommend anything, ie. a particular shop or style to look for? I'm tall, so any shops that offer a tall option is a bonus. Also tend to go for high waisted stuff too - I don't like clothes sitting on my c section scar.

Hush Amie joggers are lovely for me. High waste and slim tapered fit. You must size down though... read the reviews.

Cargo pants that go in at the bottom are very popular atm I can’t meet up with any groups with at least one or two wearing them. I got mine in primark but I know my sister in law got ones in new look. They feel like track bottoms

Linen trousers with an elastic area waist might work? They're light and summery, perfect for this time of year. You might need something more substantial as we go into Autumn/ Winter. There are lots around, I've seen them in H&M, next, Asda etc.
Jeggings are also very comfortable, M&S do brilliant ones in lots of colours and different leg lengths too.

ASOS have a sale on.....
And a tall section...

I got some harem ones from morrisons, long enough on me at 5ft 10, cheap and no weird drop crotch!

lll77 · 15/06/2019 12:53

I tried these on in Cos. They're straight leg and elasticated waist, but still look quite smart. I'm going to buy some on payday. I've a 30in inside leg and they were more ankle grazer than cropped on me.

These keep popping up on my Instagram feed as an ad and I'm sorely tempted.

I bought the eBay copy of the Hush hareems and they're amazing, really flattering, long enough in the leg (im tall) can wear either high waisted or lower and so so comfy. They wash and wear very well, and dry super fast which is handy. Plus they're only about £5.

I've had loads of compliments on them, I have purple ones (they look great with a denim shirt) but I've just ordered black, navy, khaki and red too Blush

Harem, not hareem. Stupid autocorrect.
Sorry they're £5.99 too, I'm not in the UK so my mental exchange rate calculations aren't always the greatest. The ones from this thread...

I live in my Peacocks yoga pants, they're a bit too long for me but OK with trainers and they're a tenner

yesok · 19/06/2019 21:07

Fab, taking a look now. Thank you!

I have plisse culottes which are like pyjamas that might be worth a look. Mine are navy Topshop ones, but loads of places do them, in various colours. They have an elasticated waist, and look good with t-shirt/trainers, or with a smarter top and sandals.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 19/06/2019 21:18

I mean comfy like pyjamas, they don’t look like actual nightwear.
