Wise ladies, after shelling out however much for a 2 minute eyebrow tint today I’ve decided to do my own in future - how hard can it be?!?!
Any recommendations for what product to use gratefully received, thank you

Refectocil - it’s what a lot of salons use. I buy mine from eBay

Brilliant thanks. Ordered ✅

That's the one I use too. Takes 5 mins and costs next to nothing. And always good results, none of that gingeriness you get with other eyebrow tints.

Lamentations · 15/06/2019 13:15

Yes I use that too. I bought a kit from
Amazon that came with a brush and little glass mixing bowl for about £12.99, which wouldn't even cover 2 visits to a salon. I'm happy to pay people for their time and expertise but I can do this myself.

ApostleLover · 15/06/2019 20:28

I use this one too. Bought from eBay with the mixing glass. It's super easy to do and one tube lasts quite a while.

Shylo · 15/06/2019 20:32

Is this really easy to do at home? How do you get the shape right?

FiddleFaddleDingDong · 15/06/2019 20:39

I take a very slapdash approach and just whack it on my brows. Some people use vaseline to avoid it making contact with the surrounding skin but I don't bother and find even with my method that skin staining is minimal. Any that does occur disappears within a couple of days.

SpeckledyHen · 15/06/2019 21:28

Link please :) ?

The tube on ebay, for about 5 quid, do you need a developer as well or is the 9.99 kit just got extras?

FiddleFaddleDingDong · 15/06/2019 22:22

You need the tube of dye and the bottle of developer.

Thanks for this.. tired of overpaying for something I could do at home.

Ladybirdbookworm · 15/06/2019 22:51

I just did mine for the first time on Thursday. I watched a YouTube tutorial and then just whacked it on. I didn't bother with the vaseline either.
I can't believe how much I've been paying for something so easy to do. I used the eyelure brow in dark brown but I will go for black next time as it isn't as dark as I like.

FlappyFish · 16/06/2019 01:54

Don’t last too hard. But. Just for men beard dye. It takes 5 minutes and lasts. I Vaseline and pluck after. A pack lasts a few months.

Eyelure do a set on eBay for about £6, it’s sooooo easy.

I am absolutely terrible at putting make up on my brows - which is why I tint them. Would even I be able to do this? I can't do the shape right and always put too much make up on!

I've asked for goof proof benefit eyebrow stuff for Christmas to help me sort it!
