Bought some beautiful irregular choice shoes for my wedding in 4 weeks. I wore them on a date night last weekend and they keep slipping off!! How do I stop it happening 😩

You could try some gel ‘toe covers’ and/or heel grips if they are a bit big for you. I’ll try and find them on the internet. I take a half size so use them when I have to buy shoes that don’t come in half sizes IYSWIM

Use a half insole slipped into the front of the shoe. Leather ones can be bought from Hotter for £5. They naturally fill the space at the front of the shoe and push your door back so they don't slip on and off as you walk

Scholl party feet heel shields. Bought for same reason. They don't keep their stick that well but I just pop them in when needed and they stay put.

Thank you! I have insoles in which help but it seems to be just that back, obviously don’t want it to happen while walking 😂🙈

I also bought irregular choice shoes that done this...for my wedding too. I bought Loads of things to try and wedge my foot in, including one that's meant to stick your foot to the shoe. My bridesmaids and photographer had to stuff these things in my shoes morning of the wedding to make them stay on and even then I didn't feel secure. It was a boiling hot day and my feet swelled and then my feet started killing . An hour into the day I took them off and wore my converse. So my advice would be to try a different size or really make sure the thing you've bought to help works.

Even doubling up with these didn't completely close the gap . The next shoe size down was too small..so couldn't win. Think it must have been the type of shoe.

I've used these before (great if your dress is long) and you can slip them off if you're going to have photos of the shoes

They should do you for the ceremony 😊
They're very cheap on amazon and eBay. Nothing worse than being uncomfortable for your wedding.

I also had irregular choice shoes which fit perfectly when I bought them, slipped on and off during my dress fitting and then were far too tight on the day...I swear they change shape Grin

I kept mine on until the first dance then it was on with my beloved converse!

Has to be a half insole not a full insole. Half insole pushes your foot back. Full insole lifts your foot up
