Bras that lift and separate- no cleavage please!

I don't have large or sagging breasts, but they're a bit squishy nowadays.
I'm fortunate to be able to get away with not spending a small fortune on bras, but I can't bear the cleavage I seem to get with cheap bras (not to mention falling out of the front if I bend forward!).
I don't mind spending a bit more on some well fitting bras, provided they lift and separate and don't cause the dreaded cleavage. Where to look?

I had a Triumph bra that definitely separated my boobs. Think it was called a cross my heart bra.

badguys · 13/06/2019 22:37

Panache. They are amazing.

badguys · 13/06/2019 22:38

I have this one: www.next.co.uk/style/st175079#180184

(Apologies if link isn't clicky; I'm on the app)

hawleybits · 13/06/2019 23:11

Off to Google.
I've looked at balconette style but not sure I have enough top volume. I can't have empty bra problems too Confused

Which style of Panache, badguys?

I think my mum had a Triumph Cross your Heart! Are they still available?

Ah, no...it was Playtex!

@hawleybits The one in the link I posted above. Let me know if it doesn't work for you and I'll repost. It's honestly the best bra I've ever worn.

dementedpixie · 14/06/2019 12:46

Look at boob or bust website and measure to get an idea of size. If you're falling out then the bra is the wrong size

Outnumb3red · 14/06/2019 12:48

I agree with PP, it sounds like your bras don't fit. I'd suggest getting a proper bra fitting. I like going to Bravissimo.
I also use figleaves when buying as they have great sales as bravissimo can be expensive

MrsPMT · 14/06/2019 12:53

If you are bigger than a D cup the Curvy Kate Victory bra is fab. Can get them from Bravissimo, Brastop or direct from Curvy Kate. They come in several colours, best fitting bra I've had.

Haffiana · 17/06/2019 10:26

Almost all bras lift and separate including cheap ones. If yours don't then it is because you are wearing the wrong size and from your description completely the wrong size

Get yourself measured, but not at M&S as they measure completely wrong. Or google boob or bust and do it yourself.

KatharinaRosalie · 17/06/2019 12:19

I agree, sounds like the cup is way too small, if you get a push up effect with bras that are not supposed to do that.

CrowleysBentley · 17/06/2019 17:01

Elomi cate bras. So comfortable.

palahvah · 17/06/2019 19:28

Prima Donna. Not cheap but lovely and great silhouette

InterchangeableEmma · 17/06/2019 19:41

Yy sounds like a fitting problem rather than the model of bra - underbust measurement (don't add 5!!) I should your band size. Cup size is the difference between that and the overbust measurement 1 cup size = 1 inch. AA is both measurements the same. So, for example, 30 under and 34 over would be 30D. The boob and bust site recommended above is very useful

LorelaiRoryEmily · 17/06/2019 19:45

Curvy Kate. Best fitting bras ever!

User10fuckingmillion · 17/06/2019 19:50

Are you sure you’re in the right size OP? Wrong size would explain the cleavage. booborbust.com/

lhastingsmua · 17/06/2019 20:52

Agreed that you probably have incorrectly sized bras if non-padded bras give you cleavage that you don’t already have.
