Family of 4, 2 girls aged 2 and a newborn. We have a photoshoot booked in a few weeks time. Have been advised to wear dark/bold colours, no pastels/whites. Just wondering what to wear, should we coordinate, go dressy/casual? It's one of those indoor photoshoots, not really been to one before so don't know what to expect. Thanks :)

pick one key colour, like red, and then all wear something of that colour.
eg: newborn wears read hair bow and dark coloured dress
2 year old red dress
you: red top and dark coloured bottoms (or dress with splashes of white)
dp: something red (maybe shirt, or something?) and dark trousers. no tie or anything

No no no! Don't do the matching outfits/colours. Have you not seen the recent thread about the husband who wants his awful matchy matchy photo up? So 1990s.

Outing but this is one we had done a couple of months ago. My kids were 3 and 1 just turned at the time. Also an indoor photo shoot.

Best advice is , don't let DC handle perfume on the day, my 3yo sprayed it in his eye immediately before we set off to the photo shoot! Nightmare!

That backdrop needs a lick of paint!

I haven't seen that thread, no. I don't think it looks awful, as long as everyone isn't wearing the exact same thing. I love the one @projectsincoming posted
