Exfoliator

My skin is not in its best condition. I’ve got dry / dehydrated skin and my nose is congested with dry skin / black heads at the moment. I’ve got a regimen back from The Ordinary today but it’s a bit confusing tbh. I’d like an exfoliator to add into my current skincare regime - it needs to be cheap as I’ve got a limited budget. Any recommendations?

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Pads

Better than a scratchy exfoliator.

Ooh thanks! Do you use those? Do you just wipe after cleansing?

Did you get either the salicylic from the Ordinary, or their glycolic toner? Both of those will help a lot, as will their peel.

If not, those pads on the thread are very good - just use after cleansing on dry skin, and then put Serum etc on after

I haven’t bought any of the ordinary stuff. They recommended:

Caffeine solution
Buffet
Hyaluronic Acid 2%
Niacinamide 10%
Moisturising factor
SPF

I have no idea which would act as an exfoliator? The Niacinamide?

None of those are exfoliator, OP - niacinamide brightens and firms, but won't be as effective on your blackheads as the pads PP suggested. They are pretty much like the Nip and Fab ones from Boots, except much cheaper

I swear by Lush’s coffee exfoliator. You can leave it on as a mask and then rub it in to scrub. Lasts ages too. I also love Paula’s Choice AHA lotion.

@Writersblock2, I love this one too, even the stale fags smell that comes with it!

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I decided to try the Ordinary toner (the glycolic acid one) and ditched the niacinamide. The lush scrub sounds fab too. I’ll give it a whirl if I don’t get on with the toner.
