Can you help me find something to pass as wedding dress?

We are eloping (ick, hate that word) near Xmas and I'm looking for a wedding dress but think I have a case of champagne taste, lemonade budget. I'd like something under £300 including alterations (I'm very short).
I like the embellished/beaded/Gatsby style rather than traditional lace styles so I'm hoping to find a cocktail/prom type dress that'll work.
Ideally a tiny train, fitted, not strapless and I don't mind if it's cream or champagne colour but still need to look a bit bridal.
High street bridal ranges only seem to have lace ones.
Any ideas?

Something from Stillwhite?

Filters to search for size, cost and uk only rather than worldwide.

Perhaps this

But loads of others.

I was going to suggest Jenny packham at Debenhams for that beaded/30s look but there doesn’t seem to be many dresses on there at the mo. Lots of lovely hair accessories and wraps though once you find the right dress. Or her proper designer range (normally £££) on eBay! She has some lovely stuff - I was lucky to get a sample dress for my wedding.

This is slightly off brief but it's gorgeous

I've been married quite a few years, but I did what pp suggested and got a bridesmaids dress made up in ivory. I just wanted something more simple.

I’ve seen this on a bride - it’s absolutely stunning in the flesh, so to speak. Out of budget but monsoon do fabulous sales so worth keeping an eye out.

I got married in this, but in the mink colour (not sure they still have it - maybe eBay?)

I'd bear in mind that beaded may be tricky/expensive to alter if you're short and need a lot taken off a beaded skirt.

Thanks all, I've actually found one now. Managed to find a 1920s style Maggie Sottero dress for just over £200 on eBay. It's in immaculate condition and I can't wait to wear it. Reckon I saved about £1600 on its original price!
