Phillips Lumea question

I’ve seen a few threads recommending this and I’m considering splashing out and getting one.

I am an incredibly hairy woman. Not helped by the fact that I have very, very pale skin. My hair grows ridiculously quickly so if I shave my legs in the morning I have stubble by tea time.

From what I can see the Lumea slows down the hair growth dramatically and can even make it go entirely after a while. My question is will it get rid of the root? When I shave my legs even when they’re completely smooth it looks like I have stubble as you can see the roots of the hairs under my skin. When I’ve had waxes it gets rid of them for a week or so but then I get loads of ingrowing hairs so I just shave now.

Do you think a Lumea would work for me?

I've got one. Very pale skin, black hair. Works a treat. I have never been bothered about sorting my legs out but it works on my face. After years of using Jolene or little wax strips, I no longer have hairy chops!

Yes - the Lumea stops that root nodule bump thing.
