Mulberry handbag cleaning/restoration

I have a Ledbury handbag (similar in size and style to the small Bayswater’s) that is about 10 years old. It’s looking fairly well loved and the handles have darkened with dirt and oil from my skin.

I was quoted something ridiculous like £350 to have it restored by the Handbag Clinic. Is there anything I can use to clean the handles in particular and generally give it a smarten up?

I can't remember what the stuff is but have seen a few useful videos on YouTube. Might be an idea to search for those.
