Fell in love with and bought this dress but I’m worried it’ll be hard to dress down. How would you wear it and where would you wear it?

I think you could wear it anywhere.
Dress it down with flat sandals and a big boho pendant for day time on cooler summer days.
But you could also wear it in autumn with heeled boots and a sleeveless cardigan or jacket over it, or a bike jacket maybe depending on how the sleeves work.
And it's also gorgeous for evening wear with heels and big earrings. I love it.

Very good dress, I'd like one. It would take me anywhere! Can be dressed up or down. Price is excellent, mind you I haven't looked at what fabric it's made of. Will go back and do that now.

Viscose. Hmmm. Well if someone doesn't like the dress on seeing it, it can always go back.

Viscose is a lovely fabric - it's like a very soft cotton and drapes really well. Easy to wash and iron too.

Great dress, I would wear it with white trainers

Lumene · 13/06/2019 18:42

To dress down I’d wear with white trainers and a denim jacket.

Yup, fabulous dress! And all the options as to how to wear it sound great.

I really like @woodcutbirds suggestion.

This is a dress you can wear anywhere but I think you need to feel confident within yourself for it and not care for what others think.

I'd happily wear it in all seasons. In autumn/winter/spring with tights and black boots, cardigan or jumper, black coat or even a black fleece. In summer with sandals and sunglasses.

Dress down with trainers, boots, flip flops, sandals. I feel like wedges, heels and ballet shoes might dress it up but it really depends on the style of shoes chosen 🤔

I think I'd also dress up or down with make up and hair. So natural make up or none at all with a simple or messy hairstyle to dress down or red lips (or dark eyeshadow, something dramatic basically) and hair that's curled or done in a way that shows effort to dress up.

I love the trainers and denim jacket idea.

Thanks for all your advice! I was about to take it back but looks like I’m keeping it now! Planning on wearing it tmr! It is a great price and it does look amazing on. Better in real life than on the website. It looks great with my leather jacket and cons 👍🏻👍🏻
